I’ve been toying with the idea of setting up a blog for a while now and since I’ve got a bit of spare time it has finally happened.
If you’re technical or not, getting a dedicated machine up and running to process this and multiple other sites I use has been a nightmare. A lot of guides and resources available for Nginx / PHP are out of date and reference PHP 5, when the current stable build is PHP 7. Plus I’ve been tinkering with Nginx and getting used to how it works compared to IIS, it’s not that much more involved when you get down to it.
Anyway, I plan to use this as a place to vent, share build projects for my bike or publish useful bits of information that I’ve started to gather for IT or Mechanical stuff. Hopefully I’ll do a post a week at the minimum!
